Farmers’ Seed Network at CBD COP17
At CBD COP17, Farmers’ Seed Network (FSN) will bring community-led agrobiodiversity conservation, farmers’ seed systems and equitable Access and Benefit-Sharing (ABS) into global biodiversity discussions. Drawing on community practice in China and partnerships across the Global South, we will share how local varieties, traditional knowledge and community seed banks can support biodiversity conservation, resilient food systems and local livelihoods. We also aim to strengthen the voice of smallholder farmers and communities in policy and global dialogue.
